Ant Man

The day that I finally was able to see Ant Man came, and went. For the most part, this film was great, fun, and had me laughing. Paul Rudd finally has found the character that he will be known for. One of the great things about this movie was that Paul Rudd had great chemistry with all the cast mates. This is certainly true with all the movies that he appears in.
Now, I do have to mention some of the bad things about this movie. Ant Man was able to get a great actor to play the part of Hank Pym, but unfortunately, it did not see like Michael Douglas’s heart was in this project. One Douglas’s subplots for this film was the relationship that he had with his daughter. This really bothered me while watching this. Every time that Evangeline Lilly(Hank Pym’s daughter) was on screen with Douglas, the scene felt really forced. They were going to much with the whole concept of a father trying to win back his daughter. They also tried doing this with Paul Rudd character as well. In this case, they were able to succeed.
Overall, despite the force relationships in this film, the movie was great. The comedy was well done and not to over the top. The action scene were great. Even the training scene were a blast. Not every movie showcases the actor running along with a herd of ants. This movie gets the score of 7.5/10
